What to do on a Saturday night when it's cold and snowing outside,
the kids are watching a movie, Kurt is snoozing in the living room and the Christmas tree is glowing in the corner of the living room??Make Buckeye Bars!!
Gather all ingredients and follow the directions
Put into pan as directed
Put outside in frigid air to cool
Cut into bars
And enjoy!
(JSYK, they are too peanut buttery for me...LOL!!)

i hope i get some of those...
Can you give us the recipe?
Alyssa...do you really think there will be any left when you come home on the 19th?!?! What planet do you live on? I'll be surprised if there are any left by tomorrow night!
Anonymous...if you click on the pic that has the recipe shown, I believe you can clearly see the ingredients with the directions.
you couldn't make soynut butter bars?!?!?!?!? think of the children!!!
Are these Buckeye Bars suppose to taste like peanut butter tandy cakes? I love tandy cakes.
OK, let me take a stab at this! They aren't too cake-like, as the tandy cakes are. They seem richer to me, and also somewhat fudgier.
They were a huge hit with my husband and son, and I believe Alyssa's mouth is watering! Kurt is going to make a quadruple recipe tomorrow night, for his work Christmas lunch on Tuesday. There's like 60 people in his department, so he needs a lot!! (And I guess he figures he'll make the supreme sacrifice if there's any left over and eat them...LOL!!)
