Christmas Dinner

Alyssa's yummy hors'deuvres:

Christmas Eve at 11 pm.  Just beautiful!

Christmas Eve Bells

If you don't listen to any of the other videos, please listen/watch this one! Alyssa and three other young ladies from church played Carol of the Bells at our contemporary Christmas Eve service. This song is generally played by about 9-10 bell ringers. They used a bell tree and a homemade contraption that one of the gals made :-). They each played anywhere from 4-6 bells. They start out very quietly, so it's tough to hear at the beginning, but keep listening, they keep getting louder as the song goes on. It was absolutely beautiful on Christmas Eve; this really doesn't do it any justice!

Christmas Eve

Alyssa sang this song at our late service on Christmas Eve. It's called 'Mission of His Heart.'

Christmas Concert, Part 3

This song was part of the cantata that was done during the Christmas concert.

Christmas Concert, Part 2

This song was part of the cantata within the concert.

Christmas Concert, Part One

I've had these videos on my flip video camera since before Christmas, but forgot to have Adam help me convert them to an acceptable format for Blogger before he left to go back to school.  He and I just had an intense texting/face-timing session and he helped me convert them, so now I can upload them all.  Thanks Adam!

This first one is from our Christmas Concert the Sunday before Christmas.  You can't see it, but there's a brother and sister playing the piano and violin.

Enjoy!

Christmas 2011 Pics

How cool is that?!?!?! Penn State wrapping paper!! (It came in the mail along with a request for a donation to PSU. We've been donating to Penn State for the last 6 years, but in a different way...it's called TUITION!!!!!)

My new Bible from Alyssa! It's blue and has my name engraved on it :)

What more could one want?!?!

OK, so Adam wrapped my gift in layers and layers of store circulars ;)

Once I got through all those layers, this was inside!

I love me my Nittany Lions!!

Kids went to JCPenney's and did pictures for me for Christmas :)

I don't know, this was from Adam and has something to do with Adam always breaking Kurt's drill bits....or something like that....

What more could he want!?!? A Nittany Lion pillow pet :)

And one for Alyssa, too!!

She's pretty sure she knows what's in here! Has way too many Apple products....she recognized the FONT on the packaging slip on the front of the box!

Could it be?!?!?!

OMG!!! IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an iPad!!!!!! I was so right :):)

This kinda' works well as a cell phone for me :)

No car calendar?!?!?! What's this all about???

Moving into the age of technology....a KINDLE!!

This was to go along with the Blu-Ray player that has wireless internet capabilities (I can farm on TV...LOL!!). Only problem is that once he and Adam had everything all set up, there's FIVE different remote controls needed!! I'm not sure I'll ever be able to watch television again!!

This -n- That

I guess I don't even remember how this all originated, but my sister in law's sister from Ireland (Heather), my friend Jamie's mom (Carol) and I somehow ended up being 'neighbors' on Farmville, which is on Facebook. One can accumulate animals on FV and at one point, two of the animals you could receive were penguins and seagulls. Somehow there began a feud of the penguins and seagulls. Heather and her daughter, Robyn are here visiting from Ireland for a week and Carol came from North Carolina in order to be able to meet Heather. We got together at our house this afternoon to visit together and share our penguin and seagull stories :)

We'll convert those penguins yet! New Penn State fans!

And finally, this pic was taken on Christmas Day. Our niece Beth on her sister Jessica's back :)
