Adam eating his huge ice cream coneWe had a good day helping Alyssa set up her room, picking up her books, having lunch together, etc. You could tell that she was excited! Thanks to all of you who were praying for me that I would be able to get through this; I think I did fairly well saying good-bye, although it's a bit tough right now! Alyssa was kind enough to wait up for me tonight to talk to me on-line for a few minutes...she updated me on the evening's events, which kind of made me feel like I was there, too!
