Who says KMart Essentials doesn't have anything?!?!? I hit paydirt today:

1. Yes, plain purple, and the striped are purple and green based.
2. I made cucumber salad with vinegar, water, sugar and dill weed. It's soaking til tomorrow night.
3. No, I've had the chopper...I got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
I've seen those choppers in the store and have been mighty tempted to get one but Dave (my husband) has commented on how many appliances I've accumulated the last couple of years so I haven't gotten one yet. By the way, do you know you can freeze any extra onions (works good with peppers too) so if you chop extra onions, freeze them. I like doing it cause when I'm lazy then I always had onions and they were chopped already.
