In addition to Alyssa being honored for her academic achievement (GPA > 3.8), she received two additional scholarships tonight. She was honored with the Senior High PTA scholarship for $300 and the Northampton Exchange Club scholarship for $500. With the previous one she heard about, she has now received a total of $1,000 in scholarship monies. She is very grateful to the organizations who considered her worthy of these awards. She also received a $50 Borders gift card.

I don't think you've ever met THIS Rachel...this is Monica's daughter. The Rachel I think you're talking about that you've met in our office, is Nancy's daugther. Monica and I were roomies in nursing school.
