Saturday, Part II

We took a very scenic road trip to Mifflinburg, about 40 miles east of State College, to enjoy the fall foliage. We saw quite a few Amish farms. With the warm temperatures, we were about a week too early to see more spectacular colors, but some areas were absolutely gorgeous!

We stopped at a little Mennonite country market that had a little drive in restaurant out front. You could order BBQ chicken, ribs or shrimp, all for a very reasonable price. I took a picture of my lunch, so you could see how large the portions were. I ordered a 1/4 rack of ribs, which came with two sides and roll....all for $6. It was all delicious, too! Thank goodness I didn't get the 1/2 rack...LOL!! Alyssa was amazed at the size of the mum they had out front!
