As Requested

From the recipe book, Six Ingredients or Less, here is the recipe for the sweet and sour chicken that Alyssa and friends made the other night:

1 chicken, cut up (they cut up chicken breasts into bite sized pieces)
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup white vinegar (they used cider vinegar, I believe)
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar

Combine last four ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 mins.

Place chicken in a sprayed 9x13 baking dish. Brush generously with sauce. Bake 30 minutes; turn. Bake 20-30 minutes, basting frequently with the sauce. Makes 4 servings.

it was very yummy, but it was also very sweet, so make sure the sides you have are savory. it was also very easy to make, but it just took a while to make...especially when you start making dinner at 730...haha
