We took Adam to Bear Creek Camp this afternoon for the week. We'll pick him up on Saturday morning.

Any of you who have been to Bear Creek know the significance of this picture. The three mile road to get to the camp is a red dirt lane. Mix some rain in and you have this:

they have red dirt in michigan too from the iron ore...i hope adam has lots of nice weather and lots of fun! emphasis on the weather...

Thank you for that picture! I haven't seen the camp tents on wooden platforms in years! I did my years at Mosey Woods and all the local camps. That brings back memories.
I camped with Alyssa at Mosey Wood, Wood Haven and Helena when she was in Brownies and Juniors. They recently sold Helena near Hellertown. Bear Creek is in the same general vicinity as Mosey Wood.
