8th Grade Graduation

Wow! The school year is over...hard to believe! We now have two kids in Sr. High...one of them being a senior...sniff, sniff...LOL! Adam had his 8th grade graduation this morning. Below are the awards he received and a brief description of each.



This science award is self explanatory. This one was for the highest average in his class, not team.







Adam received this President's award for having a GPA greater than 3.5. It's signed by Dubya!





He received this award for having the highest average on his team of about 120 students in Algebra I. What an honor!






This is Adam's Algebra teacher, Mrs. Sanchez. She was pregnant and having problems, thus ended up going out on her maternity leave a few months prior to delivery. She was out from before Christmas and only came back on May 1st. She and her family recently joined Emmanuel's.






And, oh....what an honor this is! He received this from Ms. Transue, his Science teacher, for tipping his canoe on their field trip a few weeks ago!
