Locks 'O Love

Alyssa's been patiently waiting to get her locks cut off...well, not so patiently any more :) We tried over Thanksgiving to have her hair cut for Locks Of Love, but in order to get the 10 inches cut off that they require, her hair would have been super short! This past week while we were out in Pittsburgh, she decided she was fed up with it and wanted to get it chopped off. I think part of it was finding out that the teacher she'll be student teaching with gets to school at 6:15 am (!!) and the least she has to do in the morning the better!! She googled hair salons and we found a Super Cuts about a mile from her apartment....turned out they participate with the Locks Of Love organization and she got her hair cut and styled for free! Doesn't it look great?!?! We did decide it looked better after she straightened it when we got back to her apartment, though.
