Today was absolutely gorgeous! I'd like summer much better if it could be like this all the time :) Alyssa and I spent the afternoon into part of the evening at Erika's high school graduation party. She was salutatorian of the Class of 2011 at Northampton and will be attending Drexel University in the fall majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in German. We got her a college 'survival kit'. We put all the necessities in a small rubbermaid tote: bandaids, anti-itch cream, TUMS, ibuprofen, cough syrup, scotch tape, sharpies, pencils, pens, post-it notes, anti-bacterial soap, crayons, headbands, scissors, Gummi vitamins, umbrella, Vitamin C drops, etc. You know....all the important stuff you just HAVE to have :)

Feel free to put Erika in touch with me when she gets to Philly! I live in South Philly and work in Rittenhouse - neither of which are that far from Drexel. :)
Thanks Jessica, I'll tell her! Her brother is Alyssa's age and will be in his last year at Drexel (they have five year programs). It's always nice to have some connections when you're away from home :)
