New Car :)

Through a series of unfortunate events, Alyssa ended up with a new car today. My mom had a little fender bender with her car last week, rendering her car un-drivable. She will be inheriting Alyssa's old car, thus the reason for Alyssa getting a new car.

It's a 2002 baltic green Jetta with only 39,000 miles on it. It's in terrific condition and the price worked for Kurt :)

And, no, this was not a graduation present for Alyssa....she got a brand new Mac book for graduation. This car is *on loan* to her until she gets a real job and can pay us back.

This was Alyssa's graduation present. It was a collection of hints towards her real graduation gift. Anyone care to venture any guesses as to what she was going to get!?!?

LOL! It seems to be the thing to take a nice pic and then a funny one (jsyk, this is the funny one!)

This is our nephew, Matt and his wife, Karlyn with their children, Tate, Lydia and Gabriel. Matt and Karlyn are on staff with DiscipleMakers and live a few miles out of State College. It was so comforting knowing they were nearby these past four years. They picked Alyssa up most Sundays her freshman year and took her to church with them and often fed her afterwards. Matt fixed her car on numerous occasions. They visited her each time she moved into a new place. She babysat for them. They fed her. She attended their church all four years. And now they get Adam for the next three years :) Thanks Matt and Karlyn....we really appreciate all you've done!!

Height does have its advantages :)
