Fireworks!

Woodstone Golf Club is a private golf course about a mile away from us.  They have the nicest fireworks.  This year their celebration was last evening, not the Fourth.  Alyssa and I drove to work together yesterday; weren't we surprised when we were on our way home and came upon Woodstone and saw a bunch of hot air balloons.  We went home and picked Kurt up to go to supper and on our way to eat, I drove over by the golf course so I could get a few pics.

After dinner, on our way home, we drove out our road about a 1/2 mile, pulled off on the shoulder and sat there for about 45 minutes waiting for the fireworks to begin.  For some reason I thought they started at 9:30 pm, but they didn't actually start until 10.  But that was OK, Kurt took a mini-nap to be able to stay awake for the show :), and Alyssa and I sat there playing on our phones!  As usual, they had a beautiful show and it lasted approximately 30 minutes.

**Thanks to Alyssa for taking the fireworks pics.  There was a dog running around outside the car parked in front of us; I was a bit nervous about getting out of the car!  She just hung the camera out the window :)  She did a great job!!
