Kurt received an award at work today. Over 70 people were nominated company-wide, only 7 people were chosen and he was the only one locally. He was nominated by his boss, who is also a friend. It is given to recognize exemplary employees of the company. In addition to the award, he was taken to lunch at the Hanoverville Road House and received a very nice monetary gift :)

And then.....Miss Alyssa passed her Praxis exam! This arrived in the mail today. Apparently she was in the top 15% of scorers! In order to teach in the state of Pennsylvania you must pass this standardized exam.
