As our Advent candles are lit each week in church, someone sings one of the verses of O Come, O Come Emmanuel. The congregation then joins in on the refrain. This past week, which was the first week of Advent, Kurt was to sing it, but had a terrible cold. He asked Alyssa if she would be willing to do it instead...she graciously agreed to help her dad out!

Alyssa you have a very pretty voice. We also sing this too in church, but I can't remember if we sang it this past Sunday.
